Madhya Pradesh has been promoting itself as the ideal monsoon destination. In a national seminar on monsoon tourism in the national capital last week, Ashwani Lohani, managing director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation said that the state has taken various initiatives to promote monsoon tourism, such as improving connectivity and better roads.

The foreign tourist arrivals have increased by 14.3 percent in 2007, as compared to 2006 and the time has come to attract tourists in the lean season as well.

Pachmarhi is the Only hill station in Madhya Pradesh, and we have to preserve its beauty.
